# How to connect to your test

Follow these steps to join your examiner in your assessment room and start your test. To ensure a smooth experience, we recommend using a computer to connect.

### ${color}[#50bd9b](Step 1 - Log in to your LILATE account )

First, you need to log in to your account via this link [https://app.lilate.org/](https://app.lilate.org/) and sign in with your username and password. 
⚠️ **Please log in to your LILATE space via Google Chrome Browser.**

From your dashboard, go to the **"Upcoming tests"** menu and click to join your exam.

Your test takes place on Microsoft Teams. You don't need a Teams account to join. If you don't have one and don't want to create one, you can join as a **guest**.

Then you'll be presented with 3 choices, click on the second one:  
  
* Download the Mac/Windows application
* **Continue on the browser (if you don't want to install the application)**
* Open your Teams application

You'll then be connected directly to your assessment room, where your examiner will be waiting for you.
