# Why is my LILATE AI test marked as "abandoned"?

The **"Abandoned"** status applies to the **AI assessment mode** of the LILATE certification. As soon as you click **"Start the test,"** you must complete the assessment through to the end. 

It's important to prepare properly before starting:
* Find a **quiet place**, free from interruptions.
* Set aside **at least 30 minutes** to complete the test.
* Check beforehand that your **webcam, microphone, and speakers** are working properly.
* Make sure you have a **stable internet connection**.

### ${color}[#50bd9b](In which cases is the test considered 'abandoned'? )

If you start the test but don't complete it, it will automatically be marked as **abandoned** in the following situations:

| Cause | Explanation |
| **Voluntary abandonment** | You quit the test using the dedicated button. |
| **Inactivity** | The test is considered abandoned if you stop participating, for example after **3 consecutive unanswered questions** or with no activity for around **10 minutes**. |

⚠️ **Once a test has been abandoned, it cannot be resumed.**
