What to expect during the FlashLevel test ?
The FlashLevel is a language placement test designed to assess your ability to use a language in a real professional context.
Over approximately 30 minutes, the test evaluates five essential skills: reading comprehension, listening comprehension, written expression, spoken expression, and interaction with the conversational agent.
The assessment is built around four key professional situations, measuring your level according to the CEFR framework, from A1 to C2.
Please note that the screenshots below show the test interface as seen by a French speaker taking the test in English.
Welcoming someone
This first situation assesses your ability to interact with someone in a professional context. You may be asked to welcome a client or visitor, answer simple questions, or introduce yourself or your company. The exercises may involve listening comprehension, spoken expression, and interaction with the conversational agent to simulate a realistic professional exchange.

Analyze the documents
This section measures your ability to understand written information used in a professional setting. The goal is to assess your ability to identify key information, understand the context, and correctly interpret the content presented.

Passing on instructions
This professional situation evaluates your ability to communicate information in a clear and structured way.

Gathering information
The final situation focuses on your ability to obtain information from someone or to understand the elements being communicated.
