My photo was rejected for non-compliance, what should I do to unlock my LILATE?

If your photo has been rejected by the examiner, your certificate cannot be issued until a new compliant photo has been validated.

How to regularize your situation

Submit a new photo (and/or ID document)

Please use the secure form only to submit your new photo and/or a copy of your ID document:

Documents sent by email or through any other channel cannot be processed.

Photo requirements

📸 Your photo must strictly meet the following criteria:

  • recent photo (taken within the last 6 months)
  • plain, light-colored background
  • face centered and clearly visible
  • no accessories (glasses, headset, head covering) and no filters
  • accepted formats: JPG, PNG, or PDF

Validation timeframe and access to your certificate

⏳ After submitting your documents via the form, our teams review them within an average timeframe of 5 to 7 business days.

In some cases (periods of high activity or holidays), this timeframe may be slightly extended, but will not exceed 10 business days.

What this means in practice

  • If you submit your documents during a regular working week, outside of vacation periods, processing usually takes place within the following week.
  • If your submission occurs during a closure or vacation period, processing will resume when the team returns, and the same 5 to 7 business day timeframe will then apply.

Once your documents are validated

As soon as your documents are approved:

  • you will automatically receive a confirmation email,
  • you will be able to access your results,
  • and download your LILATE certificate from your candidate account.

Key points to remember

  • Photo validation is a regulatory requirement of the certification
  • The secure form is the only processing channel
  • Processing times may be longer during vacation periods
  • No results or certificate can be issued until the photo is compliant
