Can I take my LILATE test from my mobile phone?

It is only possible to take the LILATE test from a computer, and not from your mobile phone, due to specific hardware and software requirements needed to ensure an effective assessment. The main reasons for this limitation are as follows:

  1. Required browser: LILATE requires the use of Google Chrome, and it is essential to have the latest version installed. The tests and tools integrated into the LILATE platform are specifically designed to work with this browser. Mobile browsers on phones are generally not compatible with these requirements. 👉 Why use Chrome to take the LILATE test?
  2. Screen size: It is recommended to use a computer with a sufficiently large screen to clearly see the evaluator and navigate easily during the assessment. Mobile phone screens are therefore not suitable for providing an optimal experience.
  3. Webcam: A functional webcam is essential to validate the LILATE test. Although many mobile phones are equipped with cameras, the tools integrated into the LILATE user interface are designed to work with standard computer webcams, and there may be compatibility issues with phone cameras.

In summary, mobile phones do not fully meet the hardware requirements of the LILATE test, making it impossible to take the test from a mobile phone.
